ARE YOU INSURED?

Yes. Airlie Beach Garden & Property Maintenance has public liability insurance and a Workcover Policy in place.

WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?

We can undertake just about any job around your home, business or property. For a list of our most popular services, please visit our services page or contact us by phone or message.

HOW MUCH DO YOUR SERVICES COST?

Due to the diverse nature of the work we don't specify a set rate. Please contact us for a specialised quote. We will also endeavour to beat any competitors' quotes.

DO YOU CHARGE BY THE JOB OR BY THE HOUR?

It depends on the type of job. When we estimate jobs, we give you price estimates or range of cost for labour for the complete job. However, for some jobs, such as flat pack assembly, gyprock repair, paint touch ups and minor repairs, we charge by the hour.

ARE ESTIMATES FREE?

Estimates provided over the phone and email are free. In-person estimates are also free if you're within our service area as we don't charge a call out fee. For jobs that are further away, we have a trip charge that, depending on the final cost of the job, we will refund in your final invoice, if the job bid is approved (only for jobs $1000 and above).

DOES AIRLIE BEACH GARDEN & PROPERTY MAINTENANCE REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?

We only require a deposit for costly materials (especially orders for irrigation supplies, paint, plants, mulch, etc.) if the cost is more than $100. Any refunds would require a re-stocking fee, depending on the cost of the parts or materials.

WHICH PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept cash, bank transfer and PayPal.

CAN I PAY MY BILL WITHIN A MONTH?

Payment for services rendered is due upon receipt of the final invoice. Any unpaid invoices will incur a 10% late fee after 30 days (and every 30 days after that).

DO YOU OFFER ANY GUARANTEE?

Yes, for repairs, we offer a 12 month guarantee. If there are any issues with work undertaken, we will fix it free of charge within 12 months from the date of invoice.

WHEN ARE YOU AVAILABLE?

Shane is available from Monday to Friday. Some services are generally available the same day. We are more than happy to work around your schedule at a time that best suits you. We schedule jobs to be done Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. If it's a small job, we would schedule no later than 3pm. For larger jobs, we would not schedule after 2pm. Out of respect for your neighbours, we do not schedule after hours (between 5 pm and 7 am) or on the weekends or public holidays.

HOW DO I SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT WITH AIRLIE BEACH GARDEN & PROPERTY MAINTENANCE?

Youcan schedule an appointment with us by calling, emailing or messaging us or using the request form on our Contact page.  We usually have availability within one to four weeks, depending on the season. Currently, it's only Shane, so we ask you to understand if we have to push your appointment until he is available.

DO I NEED TO BE AT THE PROPERTY AT THE TIME OF SERVICE?

It's not absolutely necessary, but we prefer to have someone at the home that is at least 18 years old. You may arrange for us to gain access to your property and to lock it after we leave. If you are out-of-state, we can attach pictures of the finished job when we email your invoice. We treat your home with the utmost respect and care.

The only thing we want to be sure about is that you leave arrangements for payment.

DO I PROVIDE THE MATERIALS REQUIRED FOR MY JOB?

If you have preferred decor items such as shelves, paint colours, etc. you buy these yourself.

Other items such as gyprock (and related materials), irrigation supplies, and other specific parts for repairs are better purchased by us, so that we get the correct ones and avoid you needing to return items that aren't suitable for the job.

ARE YOU A FRANCHISE COMPANY?

No. Airlie Beach Garden & Property Maintenance is a local, family-owned and operated business established in 2022. You will always deal with us directly, not some contractor/franchisee who is impossible to contact if something comes up or goes wrong!
